Boat

Many states now require boats to be insured. If the purchase of your boat is financed, or if you use a marina, you will probably be required to insure your boat.  However, even if insurance is not required, it is still important that you consider purchasing boat insurance.

Boat insurance is similar to the insurance you purchase for your car and can protect you in much the same way. But, since boats have different features than your car, you will want to make sure you have all the types of coverage that you might need, while at the same time being aware of any savings that may lower your premium.

Insurance coverage you may wish to consider for your boat:

  • Liability
  • Physical Damage
  • Theft
  • Medical Payments
  • Motor Coverage
  • Trailer Coverage

Discounts you may be entitled to:

  • New Boat
  • Automatic Fire Extinguisher
  • Ship-To-Shore Radio
  • Approved Boating Education Course

Since every watercraft is unique, please make sure that you check with us to see if you need any additional coverage or if you could be eligible for any additional discounts.
