Carlisle Insurance Agency was founded in 1925 by John L. Carlisle, Sr., an Alice banker, to provide the South Texas area with insurance through American General and Hartford Insurance Company.  

Since that day, more than 80 years ago, the company has progressed from a one-person office to an office staff of over 50, which includes 16 producers and 34 service representatives.  Six of our producers have obtained the designation of “CIC”.  Nineteen of our service representatives have obtained the designation of “ACSR” and six have also obtained the “CISR" designation.

We have three branch offices which are located in Corpus Christi, Kingsville, and Premont, assuring fast, dependable, personalized customer service.

Our agency strives for continued personalized, courteous service to our customer, now and in the future, as we have for the past 82 years.  "We were here yesterday and we will be here tomorrow".

There are no other insurance agencies in existence longer in South Texas.  Our success has been due to several factors.  We believe in "small town" service with "big city" professionalism.  We have expanded our customer base to the entire State of Texas and 16 other states.  However, we feel the most important aspect of our past success and our future is the loyalty, knowledge, and dedication of our employees.  We feel this is our biggest asset.
